This four-coin Proof Set of 2015 Presidential Dollars honors the 33th through 36th Presidents - Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Each coin is in Proof-70 condition and bears the "S" San Francisco mint mark on the edge. In addition to coins for circulation the San Francisco Mint produces a limited edition of Proofs that are made specially for collectors.

We arranged for the very best "Inaugural Strike“ coins to be immediately graded and certified, and the coins offered here have been independently verified to be in perfect Proof 70 (abbreviated PR70) condition by ANACS, America’s oldest coin grading service. Coins are graded on a 70-point scale and PR-70 is literally the highest grade possible.

The combination of "Inaugural Strike" and PR70 makes these Presidential Dollars a collector's treasure. However, only 84 sets are available. When they are gone, no more coins can be certified as "Inaugural Strike." What's more these coins are Deep Cameo (abbreviated DCAM) meaning they are even better and more lustrous than standard PR70 coins. They are the best and rarest of all 2010 Presidential Dollars.

Proof coins are unlike regular U.S. coins because they are struck at least twice on highly polished coin blanks to bring out the mirrored background and high-relief images. They look very different from regular U.S. coins and because of the extra time it takes to strike each coin, only a limited number of Proof coins are produced each year. They are never made again.
