The United States Mint’s 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollars celebrated the 100th anniversaries of two classic, historic coins—the last minting in 1921 of the Morgan Dollar and the first minting of the Peace Dollar.  THE 2021 COINS HAVE GONE UP IN VALUE OVER 400%!  There were no coins released in 2022 due to a shortage of silver planchets.  Released by the Mint on August 9, 2023, these coins will surely sell out.  As an authorized dealer for the United States Mint, we have secured a pre-sale allotment of coins.  We are offering them on a first-come, first served basis.  Order yours today before they sell out.

This new 2023 coin is in original Proof condition and is certified as perfect PR-70 by an independent coin grading service.
Coins are graded on a 70-point scale, and PR-70 is the highest grade possible. This is a perfect, flawless coin … it is literally impossible to find a better coin!  The coin is encapsulated in a sonically-sealed, tamper-proof clear plastic holder that certifies its grade and protects it for future generations.  The PR-70 grade is printed on the label that sits inside the encapsulation.   The encapsulation makes the coin safe to handle and examine without fear of damaging the coin or affecting its PR-70 grade. 

The Morgan Dollar was designed by Mint Chief Engraver George T. Morgan (1845- 1925) and minted from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921. This iconic silver dollar represented the country’s westward expansion and industrial development in the late 19th century. Created through the use of modern technology and historical Mint assets, the new Morgan Dollar has a beautiful proof finish.

The obverse (heads side) features Liberty in profile. A cap, flora, and crown incused with the word “LIBERTY” adorn her head, while 13 stars, “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and the year of issuance encircle her.

The reverse (tails) depicts an eagle with outstretched wings clasping arrows and an olive branch, accompanied by a wreath. Reverse inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”

Each coin is packaged in an elegant black box, with a beautiful outer sleeve adorned with an image of the coin obverse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This proof finish Morgan Dollar—rendered in lustrous 99.9% silver—is sure to be a collector favorite for years to come.
