The American Eagle Silver Dollars have been produced every year since 1986.  These pure silver bullion coins have been produced at the West Point Mint in New York since 2001.  Please note that not all of American Silver Eagles contain the W mint mark, only the Proof Eagles have the W mint mark, the regular-strike Uncirculated Silver Eagles do not display the W.  These coins are prized for their beautiful design and silver content and have become a very popular collectible in recent years.  In fact, some MS70 American Eagles are now worth thousands of dollars.
