Ultimate Lincoln Collection 19 Coin Set

This is a set of 19 coins, Philadelphia and Denver Mint Brilliant Uncirculated Lincoln Cents, Philadelphia and Denver Mint Satin Finish Lincoln Cents and San Francisco Mint Lincoln Presidential Dollar in proof condition. In 2009, the United States Mint issued four different one-cent coins in recognition of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln's birth and the 100th anniversary of the first issuance of the Lincoln cent. The reverse of each coin reflects four different designs, each one representing a different aspect, or theme, of the life of President Lincoln.

The themes for the 2009 reverse designs represent the four major aspects of President Lincoln's life:

Birth and early childhood in Kentucky (1809-1816)

Formative years in Indiana (1816-1830)

Professional Life in Illinois (1830-1861)

Presidency in Washington, DC (1861-1865)

In 2010, the United States Mint issued a new one cent coin to replace the Bicentennial Program. The new reverse design is emblematic of President Abraham Lincoln's preservation of the United States as a single and united country, and features a Union Shield with a scroll draped across with the inscription ONE CENT. 2010 also marks the year for the release of the 13th through 16th Presidential Dollars, and Lincoln appears on the final coin design this year as the 16th President.
