2011 14 pc Clad Proof Set PR70 Inaugural Strike 

The 2011 United States Mint Proof Set contains 14 coins, each bearing the "S" mint mark of the United States Mint at San Francisco.  Included in this set are four Presidential $1 Coins honoring past Presidents of the United States: Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James Garfield;  five quarter-dollar coins honoring National Parks: Gettysburg National Park, Glacier National Park, Olympic National Park, Vicksburg National Military Park, Chicksaw National Recreation Area;  the Lincoln One Cent Coin bearing the union shield;  a new Native American $1 Coin;  and the Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime and Kennedy half dollar.

These Proof coins are the highest quality possible, and they are also the rarest.  Proof coins are unlike regular U.S. coins because they undergo a specialized minting process, which begins by manually feeding coin blanks into presses fitted with special dies.  The coin is struck multiple times so the softly frosted, yet detailed images seem to float above a mirror-like field.  Proofs look very different from regular coins and only a limited number are produced each year.  They are never made again.

Amazingly, each coin in this collection is in perfect PR70 condition, as graded by ANACS, an independent third party grading company.  What's more, these coins are certified to be INAUGURAL STRIKE, from the first day of release at the Mint.  Only 76 such sets are available - when they are gone, no more coins can be certified as Inaugural Strike.  The coins are encapsulated in a tamper-proof holder to protect their condition for the future.
