2006 Franklin Silver Dollar Proof and Mint State Collection

On January 17, 2006, the United States Mint issued two Silver Dollars honoring Benjamin Franklin on the 300th anniversary of his birth. One coin depicts Franklin as a Founding Father while the other celebrates his achievements as a Scientist by depicting his legendary kite experiment.

Both Proof and Mint State versions were issued and all four editions sold out at the US Mint in record time, leaving millions of collectors empty-handed. But after two years of searching, we have secured a small number of deluxe sets which actually bring together all four versions of these coins in the absolute perfection grade of 70!
 
Each 4-piece set contains MS-70 2006 Franklin Scientist and Founding Father Silver Dollars, and PR-70 2006 Franklin Scientist and Founding Father Proof Silver Dollars.  A deluxe wooden display case is also included.
